Recently, I’ve just completed reading an utterly charming manga called Emma by Kaoru Mori.
If you like historical romance and Candy Candy – even more so if you’re an Albert Candy fan- this series will be perfect for you.
Synopsis from Baka-Updates: In Victorian-era England, a young girl is rescued from a life of destitution and raised to become a proper British maid. Emma meets William, the eldest son of a wealthy family, and immediately falls in love with him. William shares her feelings, but the strict rules of their society prevent their relationship from ever coming out in the open. Traditional class distinctions and rich, historical details provide the backdrop for this appealing romance.
First of all, I want to express my gratitude to all of you for following my stories and my blog. I still can’t believe it that it has been a year already since I started posting in the blog, which is quite an achievement for me since the last blog I had lasted only for a couple of months. And I couldn’t have done it with all your support. Thank you. 🙂
So as promised, here is the special treat I mentioned yesterday. It’s a teaser for the upcoming chapters of It’s More Than a Fairy Tale. The answer is yes. I’m bringing this story back out of the vault. I hope you enjoy this snippet. 🙂
Please note that this contains major spoiler for the story so proceed with caution.
I hope you like the penultimate chapter of Ninety Days: Two Hearts. It’s a long chapter with a lot of events happening within the short time frame. Albert is definitely moving fast, and 23 days still left from the 90-day period, he and Candy are already engaged. 🙂
On a similar note, I’m happy to say that the final chapter of Ninety Days is on its way. However, I don’t know when it’s actually going to be ready. Since this is the final installment, which also serves as the epilogue, I want to make sure that I can wrap this up nicely to bring a satisfying conclusion to the story, so it may take longer than usual.
Now that Ninety Days is at its final phase, I can start allocating my time to my other projects. Recently, my inspiration for It’s More Than a Fairy Tale is slowly coming back. And I know a lot of you have been waiting for the continuation of the story. Guess what? After some thinking, I’ve decided that I will focus on this story after Ninety Days is finished. Don’t fret. This doesn’t mean that I will abandon the other projects; I will still continue writing AIWFC drabble series and Chasing William Andrew. I might even write oneshot or minific (or even a sequel to Ninety Days). When the plot bunny strikes, there’s nothing that can stop it. 😀
Lastly, to commemorate this blog’s one year anniversary, there will be special posts coming soon.
To those of you who are wondering: Yes, I’m still here. I apologize for the lack of updates and replies, but these few weeks have been hectic at best, and I haven’t had the time to write anything at all. Unfortunately, I have to inform you that I’m going to take another hiatus at least until end of June. However, before my hiatus, which will start in the first week of June, I plan to release several things that hopefully can tide you over. 😀
First of all, I want to say that the next chapter of Ninety Days is already well on its way. If all goes well, I’m hoping to upload it by this weekend. Another good news is that I’ve started working on the next chapter after this. So you can expect to see more new chapters soon. 🙂
In addition, I plan to upload all chapters of Ninety Days here (after some editing) with some modification. Those of you who have read them in ff.net will notice that the chapter format will be different.
Now the bad news. Unfortunately, It’s More Than A Fairy Tale will be put on temporary hold, which means that there will be no new chapter in the near future. I’ve decided to do this mainly because I’m going to do major revamping of the entire series. Please keep mind that I have no plan to abandon it at all – I will eventually finish it.
