I’m trying to decide between two different layouts which one would work the best for displaying a (super) long post/article.
I like the page navigation style for its cleaner, uncluttered, e-book look, but there will be tons of clicking involved. And this may get some people annoyed.
The other layout is the current one I’m using on my blogs. There’s no clicking needed as the entire content is displayed in one page. You only need to scroll down to continue reading.
What do you think?

Hi Forever, I prefer you post the whole page here。 as I always just check the blog for any update。 in the Reverie, I seldom check there for a update as I need to login in and after login there seems not easy to notice if there is a newly update。
but I am fine if you update in this blog then after a click to redirect me to the Reverie, as Reverie is a more structural page for all your stuff, they are huge;)
Hi there, thank you for your feedback. This is the only way I can find out what works and what doesn’t work. I value your input greatly, and it’ll help me to improve the site.
Having said that, I do want to clarify something:
You don’t need to have a Reverie account for accessing the fanfiction section. The account is for accessing Reverie restricted sites, which include translation, scanlation, and some of the articles. But if you only want to read fic, you don’t need to log in. I hope that’s clear. Let me know if it’s still confusing. The site is not a full functioning blog like this one. It’s a repository for articles, fics, etc. As you said, it’s more structural, and it’s meant to be that way as it’s in a way an archiving site, so to speak.
As for updates, the notification for them will be made on this blog, the main blog, not Reverie. I will try my best to be diligent about posting updates notification, but sometimes it just escapes my mind when I’m juggling several tasks at one time.
So does this mean you prefer everything in one page, even for super long article/chapter?
If it’s really super long, I prefer the one with page navigation. I think it will help us when we write comments. In my case, I need to several times look back to the article again and again when writing a comment, especially when there’s some issue I want to review/talk about.
I guess all your readers could agree with me, and NOW you can proceed to next move. Post the next chapter of Forever and A Day. LOL. Just kidding.
p.s. I haven’t told you this. I love the title so much! Forever and A Day. It sounds romantic, really romantic. There’s one song from Michael Learns To Rock , You Took My Heart Away, that has pretty similar line. It says ” You gave me everything. And a little bit more.” That line has been haunting me ever since.

As for the update, I’m sorry. I really did plan to update on the weekend, but a few things came up and derailed my plan. No worries. I’ll definitely update it soon. Maybe not the entire thing, but for sure there will be something new 😉

I played around for the title for a while before I chose to go with this one, and I’m glad you approved of it. The meaning behind it is really amazing, and yes, insanely romantic.
